선박의 메인 엔진에서 발생되는 진동을 억제 또는 자체 흡수함으로써 이 진동이 주변장치로 전달되는 것을 방지하기 위해 개발된
장치이다. 당사의 제품은 단종식으로서 진동의 충격에 의해 피스톤이 순간적으로 밀리면 축압기의 공기압에 의해 곧바로 복귀되며,
이와 같이 작용/반작용의 과정이 진동의 진행과 함께 연속적으로 반복됨으로써 진동의 크기가 현저히 완화된다.
